My first heart cake 💗

~ festive carrot cake with bourbon soaked raisins, salted caramel, & candied pecans

~ cookie box ~ 14 of my FAV cookies (salty malty choc chunk, ginger molasses (v), cranberry oat pecan caramelized white chocolate (gf) , choco choco sea salt (gf), miso peanut butter, citrus shortbread)

~ maple bourbon pecan pie with chocolate ganache (also available as gf with a gf crust!)

Pick ups are in ferndale Wednesday 11/27 from 10-11a or 5-6p.

Menu:

✨Apple crumble pie (+ available vegan too). Made with michigan apples baked under a buttery streusel topping 🍎🍏🍎🍏

✨Pecan pie with a brown sugar maple bourbon filling and a chocolate ganache layer

✨Pumpkin pie with mascarpone whip and candied pepitas (also available gf). I use a mix of heavy cream and buttermilk for a good balance of richness and tanginess, a little brown butter and the best part is the warming spices - fresh ginger, fresh ground cardamom, Vietnamese cinnamon, and the tiniest hint of fresh nutmeg, cloves, and black pepper. A cozy warm fall hug. 🤗

I love a pecan pie ❤️ Especially when there is a layer of dark chocolate ganache on the bottom.

All my pies are made with an all butter crust that uses a higher fat content butter so it’s extra rich and flaky. Plus organic flour from . That gets par-baked before I add any filling so it stays nice and crispy!

Then comes the filling, this has a dark chocolate ganache layer and a maple bourbon brown sugar filling, with lots of toasted pecans. I ordered some fancy pecans this year that are raw, wild harvested, unsprayed from Texas so we’ll see if you can tell the difference!

Pie slices will be available at the secret bakery this Saturday from 9-2 or sold out and thanksgiving pie pre-orders will open Saturday at 9am as well.

Pie pick up this year will be porch pick up at my home in Ferndale the day before thanksgiving. 🥧🍁🍂

There’s something special in the air every year pie time comes around. Really they’re a year round dessert, but it’s extra special around thanksgiving and I can’t wait to be baking pies for you 🥧🥰

I’m going to be popping up at secret bakery this Saturday 11/2 9-2 or until sold out with pie slices (apple crumble, pumpkin, & pecan), and of course salty maltys 🍪 + a couple other treats. Also will have a few gf pumpkin slices and vegan apple slices available!

Pie pre-orders for thanksgiving will open on 11/2 at 9am as well 🎉
