A little construction update!

Things are finally starting to come together over here at Fenton Baking Company!By the end of the day Monday, all of our drywall should be finished! 🙌 Then we’re rolling right into paint and flooring that same week! After that, it’s time to start bringing in all of our ovens, mixers, and other equipment and getting everything installed! 🥐🍪 It’s been a long road with plenty of bumps along the way, but we’re getting there one day at a time! We can’t wait for the day we get to open those doors, turn on the ovens, and welcome everyone in!

Thank you all for sticking with us, cheering us on, and being so excited for what’s coming. It means more than you know! 💚

My family in Illinois have suffered a heartbreaking loss after a house fire took their home, and tragically, they also lost both of their beloved dogs. 💔

In the blink of an eye, their lives have been turned upside down. As a family, we’re doing everything we can to help them pick up the pieces and find a new direction.

🤎 A new chapter for our family and our bakery!

To everyone who has followed our journey as Cupcakes & Kisses Fenton, we have an update to share: we’ve decided to move forward independently as Fenton Baking Company.

After much thought and prayer, we’re excited to build a bakery that reflects our family’s vision, creativity, and love for this community. Fenton Baking Company is independently owned and operated and is not affiliated with Cupcakes & Kisses.

Your kindness, patience, and encouragement have meant so much as we work toward opening our doors. We look forward to welcoming you, sharing delicious baked goods, and becoming part of your everyday stops and special celebrations.

You’ll see our new name and branding appear here as we make this transition. Follow along for menu previews, construction updates, and opening announcements!

❤️ Looking Back on Easter Weekend… ❤️

This past Easter weekend, everything changed in an instant.

Our roof collapsed, taking away everything we had worked so hard for—just two weeks before we were supposed to open our doors. 💔

It’s now August, and we’re still on the journey of rebuilding. The past few months have been filled with struggles, hardships, setbacks, delays, stress, and more patience than we ever imagined would be required.

There have been moments when we asked ourselves, “Why did this happen?” Moments when it would have been easier to give up. But we kept going. We kept believing. And most importantly, we kept our faith. 🙏❤️

This experience has taught us that even when life doesn’t go according to our plans, God still has a plan.

The rebuild hasn’t been easy, and the road has been much longer than we ever expected. But we are still here. We are still fighting for this dream. And we are getting closer every single day. 🧁❤️

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, prayed for us, encouraged us, and continued to believe in our journey through it all.

Our roof may have collapsed, but our dreams never did.
