Rosie Bea Bakes I'm Tiffany and in between raising and teaching my 5 littles I love to bake! Cakes, cookies, pies, I Many of my memories in life have been imprinted by food!

Christmas and the rosettes my mom only made that time of year, my grandma Rose's red velvet cake at many family get togethers, my grandma Bea and how she never let anyone in her house without forcing them to eat something, the delicious spring rolls and crepes in Thailand, the amazing grouper tacos at Paco's Tacos, walking to Ted Drew's with my family on hot summer nights, funnel cakes and soup in

Branson, chicken roasted on a spit at my best friend's house and the list could go on. If I am going to a new place, or any place for that matter, the first thing I start looking into are places to eat! My love of food paired with growing up with top notch cooks is probably why I have always enjoyed being in the kitchen. But my passion for baking didn't really take hold until my daughter's first birthday. I knew I wanted something special but something from a bakery was not in the budget. So I made a few practice cakes, even made my own marshmallow fondant, and took a whack at it. 10 years later and I am now a designated dessert bringer to all family functions. My decorating skills are still not where Id like them to be, its hard finding time for that with little ones pulling my apron strings every which way. But I love new projects that give me practice and will not serve something that isn't the best I can do. As far as taste my motto has always been Id rather it taste amazing than look amazing. Ill scrap something and start over if I cant be proud to put my name on it!

Sometime I try something new and it goes off without a hitch, sometimes I try something new and we have some hitches! Taste was great! But my decorating technique needs some tweaking next time. With all the summer birthdays we have, adding ice cream cake to my repertoire is going to really pay off tho! Also, a layer of cake and then a layer of ice cream is not ice cream cake, thats just cake and ice cream! I feel very strongly about this.

These were a process! But worth it!

Strawberry lemon cheesecake cookies! I love when I have extras from an order to play around with! The base was from a salted caramel cheesecake cookie, but my children are uncivilized swine that didn't like my homemade caramel sauce, so they get these instead. A lovely summertime treat!

I haven't been active on here lately so I'm giving a little life update! We bought a house in the spring so alot of my time was painting, cleaning, projects, packing, moving, unpacking, along with normal life, trying to finish school, travel, family visits, a new pup, etc. I've had some private orders in there as well, made more German chocolate the few months we've been here than the whole time at our other house! And now school has started back up! All the busyness of moving and updating, life in general, being in a new local, and trying to figure out my bake temps and times with new ovens, has kept me from devoting much time to the business. But I'm still here! Ive just about perfected my oatmeal cream pies and also started working on dog treags! So spread the word Rosie Bea Bakes is now in Fenton and ready for the holidays!!!!
