Today is a big day. So many feels. I’m proud of what J and M became and the fact that we created a true community. I’m grateful my son was able to work in the family business and all he witnessed and learned. What an incredible (albeit expensive) journey.

We will miss you all and are so grateful for everyone who has tried to come up with an idea to save this business. Please know this was a very difficult decision and we appreciate all your brainstorming 😊

Hi lovely sourdough bagel community. We want to go out with a bang!

use this order form for pick up this week and we will be delivering Thursday and Friday to try to make it a little easier for everyone to get some bagels to store!

To answer some frequently ask questions:

1) you store the bagels on the counter for two or three days and then you can freeze them for as long as you want. Freeze them whole and in a freezer bag.

2) to defrost you can leave it out the night before or simply microwave it for 40 seconds and it’s good as new.

It breaks my heart to have to post this, but almost 2 years later it is time. We’ve given this our hearts and souls and honestly, there is no more capital. Please know if you’re reading this, this is not an easy decision and we appreciate you and all of your business. We will be having a celebration, a goodbye on September 28 and please look for upcoming information. We hope you all know how much you have meant to us.

Hi community. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for supporting my family owned business, J and M Sourdough Bagels.

Some of you might know the company has been through some changes yet we are coming out stronger than ever. We had to make some changes in our store hours along with changing our kitchen, but we are back now for biweekly pick ups in Aptos. You can also find our bagels at Venus Pie Trap. They carry our plain, everything and Parmesan bagels.
