Join us this Thursday, June 11th from 12:00–3:00 PM for our Tiny Vintage Paper Cake Box Crafternoon!

This month's project transforms a simple paper mâché box into the sweetest vintage-inspired mini cake you've ever seen.

Think pastel frosting, piped details, cherries, bows, and all the nostalgic charm of a tiny retro bakery cake—except it's a keepsake box you can take home and enjoy for years to come.

These relaxed, come-as-you-are afternoons are all about creating space to gather, connect, and enjoy a little creativity away from the demands of home.

Bring a friend, meet someone new, or simply enjoy a few peaceful hours doing something fun for yourself.

Our Crafternoons are open-studio style rather than instructor-led workshops. We'll provide the supplies, inspiration, and space to create at your own pace while enjoying good company and a cozy afternoon at the bakery.

One of the most common questions we've received about our Kids in the Kitchen Camps is:

"My child is older. Will they actually learn something, or is this more like daycare?"

The answer is absolutely yes—they will learn!

While our camps are designed for ages 6–12, we intentionally keep our child-to-instructor ratio low (never more than 6:1). This allows us to tailor each camper's experience to their skill level and interests.

For some kids, that means building confidence in the kitchen and learning basic baking skills. For others, it means diving deeper into techniques, ingredients, kitchen science, and decorating skills. Our goal is to meet each child where they are and help them grow.

Whether your child is brand new to baking or already loves spending time in the kitchen, we strive to make camp both fun and educational.

And if you're considering signing up, there are still a few spots remaining in our first camp, Baking Basics, running June 8–10!

We're kicking off our summer craft series with a Junk Journal Workshop — an afternoon of creativity, conversation, and a little time away from the everyday.

Join us Thursday as we gather around the craft table to create beautiful vintage-inspired junk journals using curated papers, ephemera, ribbons, and embellishments. No experience needed — just bring your creativity and a journal or notebook and we'll provide the rest.

Y’all, we’re doing our best tomorrow. ❤️

Thankfully, all of our baked goods were prepared well before the boil order was issued, and we have the ability to safely continue serving customers through to-go service.

Out of an abundance of caution, we’ll be temporarily suspending dine-in seating and beverage service. Bakery cases will be stocked, and all of your favorite treats will be available for carryout, call-in orders, and DoorDash.

Unexpected situations like this can have a real impact on small businesses, especially in a community like ours. If you’re able to stop by, place an order, or share our posts, it truly means more than you know.
