When I think of Elvis I can't help but remember my mama. She loved the oldies like Elvis, the Eagles, and the Beatles.

I keep her memory around by playing the oldies stations on Spotify for my kiddos, we even have a "game" we play to see if they can guess the songs before they start all the way... And the small one ALWAYS knows. 🩷

It's crazy I lost followers for using my feature. I have SO MANY people say they saw my posts late and I have no other way of 'notifying' yall so what gives ?!? 😞

I remember when I first started at Brick City and the "plan" was to move 95% of sales thru there.

A LOT of negative feedback came from that decision and so I ultimately transitioned BACK to porch pickup/shopping style.
Facebook has a funny way of showing me other little secrets too.. 😉

Over the last year I have watched so many "new" bakeries in our area adapt to the porch shop style of cottage baking and do phenomenal weekly.

I wish I could say the same. Is it my baked goods? Probably not. Is it my availability? Nope I'm offering 12 hrs two days a week. Is it my customer service? I hope not.

However the issue I'm finding here is posting my exact address online. I have kids here, and they deserve their privacy to run around the yards and play as they wish.

And before I get the well offer delivery comments, I HAVE. I have been offering (sometimes even FREE) delivery weekly on Sundays as well and I'm BURNT OUT. I'm burnt out on begging for sales when I have been passionately working on my small business for 6 years now. I'm burnt out on watching other small businesses "copy" ideas and products and hell sometimes even verbage that I'm using....

So I'm taking a break
From what? I don't know entirely but the cooler won't be out next weekend. 💔

Amd DONT get me wrong I remember each and every one of you who DOES come by, who DOES schedule a delivery when they can and I DO get that the economy is CRAP right now but this is my life too.
