After considerable deliberation, I have reached the difficult decision that a change is required. The memories associated with baking have rendered it too painful for me to continue, as it holds special significance involving my father. I will complete the three orders I have and then take a hiatus from baking. I am thankful for the love and support each of you has provided, and I am looking forward to this new chapter. Although I may return to baking someday, for now, I am pursuing a career in teaching. God bless you all. 🩷

Hey y’all!
Just wanted to touch base with everyone here before the new year.
I want to thank everyone for all the support, if you’ve liked, shared, ordered or told someone about my baked goods. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
With this being said; I’ve had a few personal set backs this year. Between prices of groceries being so high, not being able to get certain items you’ve all come to expect the flavors of, and losing the one person that was the driving force behind my career in pastry arts; it’s been a helluva year. To say that I have lost my spark is an understatement. Trying to keep the ship running at home, finding holiday cheer to bring some magic to my daughter, and trying to take care of my health. It’s all a lot right now. Some things have to take a back seat and unfortunately I’ve decided that my baking business, face painting and wreath/bow businesses are the things that have to take that back seat. I need to focus on my family and healing as we move forward without someone I thought we would have for a lot longer.
So moving forward, I will be suspending all order taking until further notice.

I appreciate all the prayers, support, and understanding since October and moving forward. God bless you all, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.

Ross has his very first day of school tomorrow!
I pray everyone has a good and safe school year, even if you’ve already started or will be starting next week, I hope it’s a great year for us all.
My daughter will be starting kindergarten next week, it’s her first time in school too. I don’t know who will be worse, me or her. 😆😅

Cumberland County Animal Shelter celebrated Elaine this past Friday.
Elaine was headed for retirement but decided to stay on as their Director instead. Her love and passion for helping animals outweighed her desire to be anywhere but at the animal shelter. Thank you, Elaine, for your years of service to the community and continuing that selfless service even when you didn’t have to.

Happy 4th birthday AllieRaye!
This cake was a special one for me because it’s for a very special little girl, very near and dear to my heart.
Last year, I volunteered to be the VBS teacher for the 4 & 5 year olds and I had one 2 year old, AllieRaye. She didn’t want to be stuck with the “babies,” she’s a big girl. I didn’t mind her tagging along with us, what’s one more? 🤪
But AllieRaye was better behaved than some of my 4 and 5 year olds. It was truly a joy having her in my class and ever since then, she runs up to me at church eager for a hug.
Sundays have become my favorite day of the week because I get to love on my babies at church and AllieRaye usually leaves her parents to come sit in my lap to play with Hailee.
