The hardest part of making my Lemon Blueberry Sourdough isn’t zesting 3–4 fresh lemons for every loaf, hand-working every stretch and fold, or waiting hours for the dough to rise.

It’s waiting for it to cool.

Because when your kitchen smells like fresh lemon, sweet blueberries, and warm sourdough, that crackly crust is practically begging to be sliced.

The hardest part is staring at it while it cools, trying to convince myself that slicing into it “just a little early” isn’t a terrible idea. 🍋🫐🤤
