Retro Diner (edible) Shoot! Hamburger Cake 🍔! I will say it’s quite interesting to make food out of another food 🤣 (cake, sugar and isomalt). Of course I could have just made a real life hamburger and french fries, but what’s the fun in that. 🤷🏼‍♀️ What are your thoughts? Do you think this hamburger cake looks like a real hamburger? To be honest, I’m most excited about the french fries.🍟

Everything (the bun, meat patty, cheese, tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, french fries, and even the sesame seeds and the plate), were made from Satin Ice fondant and airbrushed for dimension.

Huge shoutout to Nielsen's Frozen Custard for hosting us. Nelson‘s frozen custard is my most absolute favorite childhood ice cream place. If you are from Utah or if you come to visit and you’ve never been you MUST go visit! Caramel Pecan is my favorite, followed by lemon, bumbleberry and oreo! A huge thank you to the hosts Amy Michelle Goff , Cake Dame-Kariann Rugg and to the talented Shannon Volmar Photography (first 12 photos). Okay kinda obvious what major this graduation cake is for? My incredible nephew just graduated with his PHD in Chemistry! First doctor in the family! He put in countless hours and so much time and hard work over the years! I’m so proud of him!!!

This graduation cake was sooooo much fun to make! Isomalt (sugar) test tubes, fondant molecules .ice , spilled melted chocolate dripping down the cake, even the written molecular formulas were the same formulas that were used in his final dissertation.

7-9” cake tiers

Bottom tier (9”) - chocolate cake layers, oreo cream filling, oreo buttercream, wrapped in vanilla buttercream.

Top tier (7”) - lemon cake layers, raspberry filling, lemon buttercream, wrapped in vanilla buttercream.

Take a look at this ombre baptism cake! I love how this cake is simple, fun but still elegant. Perfect for an eight year old boy getting baptized.

This 5” Baptism cake was made with almond cake layers, cream cheese buttercream filling and a raspberry filling, wrapped with a vanilla ombre buttercream, topped with macarons, .ice fondant details and gold leaf.

Happy Birthday to my incredible husband! We just got back from a trip to Japan, which was his all-time bucket list trip. We had so much fun seeing such incredible new things and exploring the Japanese culture and ohhhhhh the food!!! It was all so good! We sure LOVE us some Ramen! It was truly such an amazing trip!

My husband always wants me to surprise him with his birthday cake. So in light of our recent trip, this is what I came up with. A Ramen Cake! It was actually a really really fun cake to make! Happy Happy Birthday!
