We first met Enya almost two years ago as a student from Visions Unlimited, coming in the bakery one day a week for hands-on job site experience. She’s made cookies, decorated cookie cupcakes, and helped package so many items. She’s stayed on as a volunteer, and now, we welcome her to her very first JOB!
Today, Enya got her first chance to work with me and the Old World bread dough. These are her first bread loaves- she nailed it! Welcome to the team, Enya!!!

We are excited to bring our baked goods to a new venue this week, and every week all summer long! Located behind the city municipal buildings at Five Mile and Beech, this space is shaded, and cozy like a small town market with big opportunities. Come check it out, shop our new vendor friends, and pick up some fresh bread, pretzels, and sweet treats! The market is open from 10am-3pm.

The bakery’s Farmington location is also open today from 10-2, watch for another post about specials available there today! Thanks for supporting our small business!

We are going to be part of this Redford Township Market at the Marquee this year! Come check it out! Yes, we will have those famous pretzels!

The Redford Township Market at the Marquee opens Sunday, June 21, 10am to 3pm. Come out and see us. We have several new vendors and many of our favorites returning from previous seasons.

Last minute Father’s Day gifts! We only have a few left!! The bakery is open today until 4, and tomorrow 10-2!

Saturday, June 20th:

The bakery storefront will be open as usual from 9am-4pm, with fresh Old World bread out by 9:30, and pretzels when we open. We’re fully stocked up on Gooey Butter Cakes, pineapple upside down cake slices, and those bumpy ring cakes we keep selling out of. We also have some great items for Fathers Day, stop in and see what we’ve baked up!

We will not have a spot at the Farmington Farmers Market this week; instead we will be located outside Farmington Brewing Company along with Olive Thyme Catering, serving up delicious eats and sweet treats, and if you’re inclined, the taproom has some great brews lined up. Rumor has it, we will have a limited number of beer-cheese stuffed pretzel cones, a trifecta for your taste buds 🍺🧀🥨. Available only at our pop-up at FBC.

Then, the fun continues into the evening as we celebrate diversity and love during 🏳️‍🌈Pride Night Out🏳️‍🌈 in Downtown Farmington with Farmington Area Progressive Alliance from 4-8pm!

Don’t even get me started about Sunday! More on that later!

Seaside Cheddar Biscuits. These tender biscuits are loaded with sharp cheddar cheese, garlic, and authentic Old Bay seasoning.

If you were in the store yesterday, you may have scored a sample of these. If so, leave a review in the comments below so others know what you thought!
