I have baked MANY different types of breads in my lifetime, however hadn’t baked challah bread, until today.

My daughter Sarah baked us a loaf a month ago while we were in Cali, and when we arrived home from a very long and frustrating traveling day, we had that scrumptious loaf of bread along with a pasta dish.
It was a wonderful homecoming.

Back in February, my girls and I traveled to New York and we ate at so many amazing restaurants.
Probably one of my favorites was Marks Off Madison.
I ordered the French toast that was made with Challah bread.

Hmmm….maybe tomorrow morning I’ll give French toast a try with my own challah bread 😝

I’m a Challah bread fan for life!!

It has such a crunchy but tender crust, with a tender center and just a hint of sweetness!!
