Almost 8 years ago, I started T***s Sweets with a preschool Valentine’s Day party. I thought making a classroom full of cookies the night before couldn’t be that hard.
It turned into an all-nighter.
The cookies weren’t pretty, but the kids didn’t care. They tasted good, so I kept going. For the next year I baked for friends, family, and coworkers while I worked on my skills. In March 2020, I was given two weeks to prepare for my first vendor event. I had never sold a cookie before, but I built the business, created the branding, baked inventory, and showed up to my booth.
That’s where T***s Sweets was born.
“T***s” is my father’s nickname for me, and “Tout de Suite” means “in a hurry” in French. T***s Sweets fit the bill perfectly. And now I get to look around and realize... I built this.
I get to bake, create, teach cookie decorating, and create experiences for celebrations and events of all kinds. Was all the years and hand cramps worth it? I'd say so!
