The bride requested textured buttercream for some rustic vibes. She also wanted some gold accents and floral for this three tier cake. I’m thinking I definitely understood the assignment!
It’s rustic but so elegant at the same time! The classic red roses gives it the charme of a wedding cake.

I always get very hesitant when someone asks me to make a diamond pattern on their cake. We usually see those mainly on fondant covered cakes, and as you all know that’s just not me. I’m a Buttercream girl!!! For me fondant is just for detailed decorations. But to achieve a clean look for the diamond pattern on buttercream, is very labor intensive. It’s a process and it takes hours. But when it’s finished, I always love the end result. Thank you Andreia Teves for always trusting me.
