We had the awards ceremony at Fairview High School on Tuesday. An assembly was held for all students. This year Fairview American Legion Post 742 was able to award 5 scholarships in the amount of $4,000.00. The post has always awarded two in house scholarships eligible to members families. The post also awards scholarships to Fairview High School students as well. This year's recipients are as follow:

Thank you to all the ladies and gentleman for making this event another successful year. There is a lot that goes into to planning, preparing, and holding this event. But of upmost importance it is the Veterans that paid the ultimate sacrifice. Please remember them today!!!!

A gigantic THANK YOU to all of our volunteers today. We had beautiful weather and a great group of ladies and gents that helped bestow flags at the graves of Veterans at Fairview Cemetary and the West Rd. Cemetary. From the bottom of our heart thank you!

On May 17th 2026 @ 1pm we will be placing flags at the graves of our fallen Veterans at the Fairview Cemetery and West Rd Cemetery. We will meet at the legion parking lot and head to the Cemetery at 1pm. If you would like to volunteer we'd be grateful to have you.
