It is with mixed emotions that I announce the decision to close my business for the foreseeable future. This has not been an easy choice, but after much reflection, it feels like the right step forward.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each of you—my customers, supporters, and everyone who has been a part of this journey. Your trust in me to be a part of your special events, from baby showers to birthdays, has meant the world to me. This business has allowed me to grow, learn, and experience so much, and I will always be grateful for the connections I’ve made along the way.
A bit of backstory for those curious:
I started this business about two years ago, just six months after becoming a mother and while still working a full-time job. As the orders came in, my passion for what I was doing led me to take on more than I could handle, often overbooking myself. Juggling a toddler, a 40-hour work week, and running a business quickly became overwhelming. What began as a dream gradually turned into a source of burnout, leaving me with little time to rest or enjoy the process. The sleepless nights became routine, and rather than feeling excited by the work, I started to feel defeated.
Since November, I’ve taken a break from accepting orders, and in that time, I’ve realized that I don’t miss the business as I thought I would. This time away has given me the opportunity to focus on my family, relax, and explore new hobbies. As I move forward, I’m looking forward to continuing to prioritize my health and well-being, and I’m excited for what the future holds.
Thank you for your understanding and support throughout this journey. Your encouragement has been invaluable, and I’m forever grateful for the opportunity to serve you.
