To our valued customers and the community we absolutely love:

Running this bakery with our family has been a dream come true, more than we ever could have hoped for. From day one, we were welcomed and embraced by this amazing community, and we truly could not be more grateful for all of your support throughout the years. The relationships we’ve built and the faces we’ve gotten to see so regularly will be missed so much. We just can’t express how thankful we are for each one of you. We couldn’t have asked for a better community to be a part of!

This is a very bittersweet announcement, but due to many factors, we have decided to sell the bakery. This was not an easy decision by any means, but things have been lining up perfectly to pass the bakery on to the next owner who will do an incredible job. By January 1st, the bakery will be closed for a short time and come under new ownership, new name, etc., and we are so excited for what is to come! We are so thankful for the Eastmans and how they took care of us in our transition into ownership, and we want to do the same for the new owners. We know the bakery will be in great hands! They will continue to serve delicious treats, the current menu, along with fun and new additions that we know you’ll love! We will introduce the new owners in the days to come!

That being said, we will be open our regular days/hours this week. Next week, we will be open on Tuesday 12/23 from 7-12, and our last day open as Sunflour Bakery will be Wednesday 12/24 from 7-2. This is a very surreal feeling and it hasn’t sunk in yet, but we know it will hit us soon. We thank you all endlessly for making this dream come true and allowing us to be here. Our hearts are full from the time we’ve had here, but just know how much we will miss this. Thank you all.

The bakery is hiring! We are looking for someone who enjoys being around baked goods and serving the people of our amazing community to join our team! This job includes customer service, working the register, and also helping make our products! Early mornings are required (6am to about 2:30pm, Wednesday-Saturday) but the fun and fast paced environment makes the days go by fast! Please message us if interested😊
