UPDATE: We are having a CLOSING SALE the next 2 weekends on 8/23, 24, 30, and 31 from 10 AM to 2 PM. I'm posting some photos here of some of the stuff that's for sale. There are several table and chair sets, fridges freezers, pots and pans, small appliances, wire shelving units, and many more things not included here! If you're seriously interested in any of the items you see and can't make it to Ruby's during the sale hours, feel free to send a message to arrange another time to come by. We will be pricing everything over the next few days. We will be participating in the Vermont Farmers Market this winter in Rutland, where we'll be cooking crepes and offering lots of pastries, cakes, and breads as well as our Christmas wreaths... Hi there. After long consideration, Art and I have decided that yesterday was our last day operating Ruby's as a dine-in restaurant. We are sad to have to make this choice, but it's our only way forward. We will be transitioning to another kind of business, and we will be using the space in other ways, offering baked goods to order among other things. We will certainly keep you posted about our future plans as they evolve. Creating Ruby's has been a labor of love, and we have been thrilled to have the opportunity to offer something new and different to the people of Fair Haven and the surrounding area. Having spent most of my life living abroad in far flung places, it's been fun bringing new flavors to this little corner of Vermont. It was an enormous amount of work to paint and decorate to create our little bistro. When the dining room was filled with groups of friends and families laughing and talking and just enjoying being in the space we created, it was all worth it. As many of you know, we had some very serious health issues that hit us last year that presented us with challenges. Sadly, the need ofr good insurance and benefits is one of the major reasons we have had to make this change. To all of our friends, neighbors, and customers who stuck by us and showed us kindness and understanding through all of it, if means more than you will ever know. We've been so lucky with staff who've been willing to help through thick and thin. We love you!! We wish all of the downtown business community of Fair Haven the best, and we'll be seeing you in all the old familiar places.

Good morning! The pastry cases are full, and brunch is served from 10 to 2 Satrday and Sunday! Our specials today are our chicken cranberry Waldorf salad, corned beef Reuben, and Monte Cristo sandwiches! Our full brunch menu is also seved. Have a great weekend everyone!
