Back in Texas, I owned four bakeries, and eventually opened a fifth location in New York.
In January 2019, I moved to Hawaiʻi believing I knew what the next chapter of my life would look like.
I was wrong.
Over the years that followed, I lost everything I had worked so hard to build.
There were days I wasn’t sure I’d ever bake professionally again.
But somehow, through all of it, I never stopped baking.
The storefronts are gone.
The recipes aren’t.
The old chapter ended.
But the passion never did.
Today, Hula Honey looks different than I ever imagined. These days you’ll find me baking between school pickup, deliveries, laundry, and all the beautiful chaos of life. 😅
This Saturday I’ll be back at Jolene’s for my first pop-up of the summer, and I’m incredibly grateful for every person who’s supported me along the way.
Whether you’ve been here since the Cupcake Couture days or you’re just discovering Hula Honey, thank you for being part of the journey. ❤️
Here’s to starting again. 🌺🍯
See you Saturday!
