Another week at the shack, another week feeling so grateful 🙏

Thank you to everyone who stopped by from near and far to grab banana bread, say hi, share your stories, and make memories with us. From first-time visitors to familiar faces, every single person who comes through our little shack means the world to our team.

What started as banana bread has become something so much bigger… a place where people celebrate birthdays, engagements, vacations, family trips, and little moments in between. We never take that for granted.

Every single loaf starts right here. Fresh batter being poured into molds before heading to the ovens, the shack on the North Shore, and homes all across the US. 

One thing about Makua banana bread… we don’t do light batter over here 😂 our batter is packed with locally grown bananas, quality ingredients, and a whole lot of aloha.

Now excuse us while we pour a few hundred more loaves 🍌

Another week at the Haleiwa shack and our hearts are full! 💛🍌

A huge mahalo to all of our new and returning customers who stopped by in May. Whether you're visiting Oahu for the first time or making Makua Banana Bread part of your regular North Shore routine, we truly appreciate every visit, every conversation, and every smiling face.

We also loved seeing some adorable pups stop by the shack to grab a treat too! 🐶💛

As we head into summer, things are getting busier than ever and our team is doing our best to keep up with all the baking. Thank you for your patience, your support, and for helping us continue doing what we love every day.
