IMPORTANT INFO!
First off, Happy New Year to all!
While 2020 was a rough year for most (to say the least), I personally made some very big changes in the last few months. I made the decision to go back to school in September and am currently working through my first semester of a 2 year Veterinary technician degree program. Shortly after starting school, I was very blessed with the opportunity to start working as a vet tech at my favorite animal hospital. While I absolutely love baking and cake decorating, it is very hard to run this business while also taking care of my family and home, going to school, and working at the animal hospital. I have made the very difficult decision to take a break from Dessert First this year. I appreciate the amazing amount of support and love I have received over the last 3 1/2 years for my baking business and I will always be grateful for that. I will still be "doing cakes" as a hobby, it will just no longer be a business.
Please continue to follow this page and my instagram because I will still be sharing my sweet treats and creations!

Another batch of these delicious cream cheese and fresh fruit danishes for our Christmas Eve breakfast! This time I cut squares so there was no wasted pastry and I used blueberries and raspberries. Yum yum yum!

Want to know what was inside?
Rich vanilla cake layers with cinnamon brown sugar butter swirls throughout sandwich a thick layer of cinnamon brown sugar cream cheese buttercream. I wrapped it all up in creamy vanilla buttercream and voila! A decadent snickerdoodle (or cinnamon roll?) cake!
