One of the biggest things I never want my clients to worry about is knowing what to do in front of the camera.

You don't have to practice your smile in the mirror, memorize poses from Pinterest, or worry about where to put your hands. 😂

I'll help guide you through your session, give you little prompts, and make sure you feel comfortable every step of the way!

Whether you're naturally comfortable in front of the camera or you're the person who says, "I have NO idea what I'm doing!" you're welcome here. 🤍

It’s the little details for me. 📸🤎

The tiny hand wrapped around Dad’s finger.

The way Mom fixes her little girl’s hair without even thinking about it.

The dirty knees after the kids have been running around during the session.

The wedding rings.

The baby curls.

The missing front teeth.

The way two people look at each other when they think I’m not taking a picture.

Those might not always be the photos you think you’re coming to a session for… but they’re some of my absolute favorites to capture.

Because the big moments are beautiful, but sometimes it’s the smallest details that bring you right back to a season of life.

We spend so much time wishing we could freeze time… and in a small way, photography lets us do exactly that. 📸

A little Sunday thought from the girl behind the camera. 🤎📸

When I started Floyd’s Blessings Photography, I thought I was simply chasing something I loved taking pictures and giving people memories they could keep forever.

But somewhere along the way, it became so much more than that.

It’s the little ones who make me work for that smile. 😂
It’s the couples who let me capture a chapter of their love story.
It’s the moms who are usually behind the camera finally getting IN the pictures.
It’s watching someone light up when they see their gallery for the first time.

Every session reminds me why I picked up a camera in the first place.

I’m still learning. I’m still growing. I’m still building this little dream one session at a time and I’m incredibly thankful for every person who has trusted me along the way. 🤍

The person who smiled at you today may be fighting a battle they haven’t told anyone about. The mama who looks like she has it all together may be barely making it through the day. The person who seems quiet may just need someone to remind them they matter.

So today, be intentional. 🤎

Give the compliment.
Send the text.
Hold the door.
Say the prayer.
Tell someone you’re proud of them.
Choose kindness even when you don’t have to.

It costs us nothing to be a bright spot in someone else’s day, but to the person who needs it, it could mean everything.

Fall looks pretty sweet on these three. 🍂🤎

I got my babies dressed up, grabbed my camera, and took advantage of this beautiful fall weather and I’m so glad I did. 🥹

Watching their little personalities come through in front of my camera will never get old. These three are growing way too fast, and I’m thankful I get to freeze little pieces of who they are right now.

Sometimes the most special photos aren’t about perfect poses or everyone looking at the camera… they’re simply about remembering this season exactly as it was. 🤍

And this season of life? It’s one I never want to forget.
