📣📣 The Bakery will be CLOSED for July and August due to Texas summer temperatures, an old AC unit, and a hot oven not being friends and playing nice. We'll still answer questions and chat about future orders scheduled for after September 1st. Hope everyone has a great summer, we appreciate all the good reviews and referrals.

He requested a sprinkling of citric acid for that sour kick and a layer of sour patch kids to fall out of the cake. Mission accomplished!!

We have taken on challenging cakes before, but I will say this was by far the first that hurt my perfectionist brain. It took everything in me to purposely make this cake ugly to represent the Bluey Duck Cake from that special cartoon episode. We even got every detail, including the M&M buttons, kettle corn hair, and potato chip beak.

After several hours of watching these judges eat 427 different cookies from 15 different categories it saddens us to say that we did not have a winning cookie this year. Congrats to all the winners!!

Lessons were learned and we plan to come back next year with new & improved recipes, more categories and several more entries to enhance our odds of winning. Thanks to everyone for their continuous support of our small business. See you next year, Big Tex!!
