Yay for June!!!

We tried giving y’all an extra day on this one, and sadly no one guessed it! Do I sense some defeat?! Better luck next month preciouses!

June Pie of the Month is…🥁

🎉Churito Rhubarb Chiffon 🎉

Oh my lanta is this one GOOOOOOOOD!

We took Amy’s favorite vegetable (rhubarb) and made a compote, then blended in with creamy goodness into a tart, creamy, fluffy delightful pie! We then made cardamom cinnamon whipped cream to complement a mountain of Churito’s donut holes, from !

Think, a rhubarb churro with creamy deliciousness 🤤

The donuts at are the best I have ever had! They are fried in beef tallow, you read that right, and have a lightness about them. Amber, one of the chefs, coats their Churito toes in a blend of cinnamon, sugar and cardamom! She is literally the only other chef that was as pumped about cardamom as Amy! Haha

They are wonderful people with a delicious product and aligned values. They were at the lane county farmers market and have now moved to the one in Albany.

But don’t worry, you can have their donuts on this pie! 🥧

This baby is $41 and can be ordered on our website.

Thank you to everyone who played this month! We will see you for July!

🕵️ Clue Answers Below 👇

1. Rhubarb of corse! We turn weeds into gold!
2. Chiffon
3. Churitos from Moes Toes!

Thank you so much for playing. Sending lots of 🫶

And just like that, the wildflower festival came and went. 🌷

This was by far the smoothest event that we’ve ever done because we had so many wonderful people working with us.

Not only are events such a pleasure to be a part of; a vision we can stand behind and support, but we tend to find our hobbit kind in these woods!

He had a nonstop line all day, and everyone was so lovely, gracious and kind. 💗

We have adopted the belief of “there’s nothing wrong” and to take time with each person welcoming them home.

I used to work at places; where I would be aligned with their values, excited even to create something magical with them. Only to find out that they were just words on a page and were thrown out the window when there was a lack of time or money.

To get the profound opportunity of creating our own values; our own culture, is such a blessing. And to not just talk the talk, but walk the talk; stand in our values and re-create them when there is lack is one of the most profound experiences I’ve ever had.

We are creating a culture where we take deep care of ourselves first, so we can show up and shine bright. This weekend, y’all allowed us to love on you. Words cannot express our gratitude. 🙏

To see the line never stop and have people give us wonderful feedback is extremely validating. Not because we need it, but because we are standing in love is the answer. That it is small acts of kindness that keep the darkness at bay.

This weekend was proof of that. ✨

And it gives us courage and faith to keep creating from a hobbit-hearted centered place.🧙‍♀️

Ain’t nothin’ like a Hobbit Party! Thank you! We can’t wait to be back for the mushroom festival! 🍄

Ride or Pie! 🥧 🤘✨

Our Apple Dumplings though!

This was the last thing I ever made my grandfather, his request, as he battled cancer. He wasn’t able to eat much but the “mmmm” sound was worth every moment, making it. It gave him a moment of relief in a sea of suffering.

It took me a while to even put the pieces together that we should bring these beautiful creations to second breakfast. It was when I was sharing that moment about him that it clicked.

And here we are! Another gift my grandpa had had given me without me, even knowing it!

These are a whole apple, cord and peeled, stuffed with cinnamon sugar and wrapped in our famous all butter crust, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and baked till golden brown!

they are a staple now, and we have them at every single event that we do!

You can find us at the on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9am-2pm or at the May events we are popping up at.

To see what festivals we are doing, go to our Events page on our website, link in bio.

The next one we have is May 30th ! We are so excited to bring Second Breakfast to the Highland Games right here at home, at the Eugene grange, for the second year in a row!

We love you like a Hobbit loves Second Breakfast!

Thank you thank you thank you 🙏

Now let’s show them what it looks like to be loved by a Hobbit!
