Every cent we make is being poured back into paying off our new farm stand. Once we pay it off, we can begin the inner construction to finish it out! We are so excited to begin offering a 24/7 stand that will accommodate middle of the night cravings as well as quick morning commute options.
A “hole in the wall”. A best kept secret. We want to build and be able to give back to and better serve the community we owe so much to!

Good afternoon beautiful people!

As you may know, I have committed to being a vendor at the Newport Night Markets on Friday evenings from 4-7:30.

Initially, today was no exception. That was until my husband approached me while I was beginning to bake and asked me to stop 🛑. Confused, I asked why. He informed me that he had a surprise and had taken some vacation days from work so we could spend both my birthday and our wedding anniversary (6/11&6/12) together as a family.

Unfortunately, I won’t be attending the Night Market this afternoon for that reason. I will be returning next Friday and every Friday thereafter!

Also, due to the surplus of delicious baked goods and breads offered at the market, I will likely be steering away from offering bread unless specifically requested. I will still be offering savory options such as the beautiful artisan focaccia slabs and warm beer batter soft pretzels salted to order, but I think that this market is a budding opportunity to offer some bakes that maybe my customers haven’t even seen before: such as viral treats and trends and some classic favorites that aren’t common “in these parts”.

We’re going to have fun, that’s for certain! Samples galore and fun incentives for interacting with our page!

Good evening!
A bit of an unorthodox post, but I have a missed connection of sorts to declare 😅

I met a very kind young man last night at the Newport Community Market that was browsing the many vendors with his wonderful family. I noticed he was wearing a Super Mario shirt; being that my three kiddos are currently obsessed with the new Super Mario Galaxy movie, I struck up a conversation with him about his love for Mario.

He expressed that he was collecting the McDonald’s Mario toys. That they no longer have the toys available, but that he was only missing two out of the set. I told him that my kids had quite a few of the toys, but that they didn’t collect or care about them, and that I often throw them away 😬

This lead to me telling him that I would look in my house/van for the two pieces to his set that he was missing. I promised him that if I found them, I’d hold them with me for future markets in case he and his family came back through so he could complete his collection.

Well, I believe I got them both! I told him we weren’t going to strong arm his Mom into attending any of the markets, but I’m hoping that maybe they will see this so I can connect with them and complete this boy’s collection!

I have some very exciting news to share!

Our farmstand is getting a much-needed upgrade. While I’ll always love the charm and simplicity of our original open-air stand, it’s time for a space that can better support our growth and needs (and, admittedly, one that’s a bit less appealing to our persistent squirrel visitors 😅). That original stand will still have its moment for a future refresh of its own.

This new enclosed shed will allow us to expand thoughtfully and serve you even better. The goal is to be open year-round, with the addition of refrigerated and frozen offerings, and eventually a warmer stocked with fresh, grab-and-go treats. We’ll also be offering farm-fresh, unwashed eggs as part of our regular selection.

Beyond expanding what we offer, this space will protect everything from the elements—no more sun exposure or weather concerns—and help ensure that everything you pick up is as fresh and well-kept as possible.

We’re also excited to share that my husband will be offering a selection of 3D-printed items. My personal favorites so far are these charming, cottage-style birdhouses—they’re just too sweet not to mention 🥹

This project is truly a labor of love and will continue to evolve over time. Our vision is to create a 24-hour, self-serve stand—a convenient “quick stop” for those early mornings, late nights, and everything in between along Route 2.

We would be so grateful for your support as we grow. Stay tuned for updates, and follow along as we build something special (and delightfully carb-filled).
