​When we started Katie’s Bakin’ and Egg Stand, we just wanted to share a little bit of homegrown goodness with our neighbors. To see the Blueberry, Strawberry, and Mixed Fruit jams fly off the shelves like this is mind-blowing.
​We are so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you who stopped by, bought a jar, and supported this sweet little dream of ours. (And yes, even our "Employee of the Month" 🐔 is celebrating the big news!).

We want thank the community for your overwhelming support! We are a local small family business! When you buy from us you are supporting my ability to stay home with my special needs son. I am proud to announce our employee of the month for May! Meet Betty White! She is always down for some treats! As you can see she is perched up on our feed can waiting for a handful of meal worms (yes she eats from my hand)! Betty is a White Leghorn and lays a whopping 320+ extra large white eggs per year! She is one of our original chickens from our first clutch so technically she had a hand in me becoming a chicken mom! She is fast but her sister Black Betty is faster! We love to spoil our girls and they spend their days free ranging our back lot in search of fresh grass and bugs! Congratulations Betty White and thank you for being my hen!
