Hola!
Yesterday was a difficult day, but it also ended with a huge relief—and I wanted to share an honest update with you. ❤️
If you noticed that I deleted my post about my money being stolen from my bank account about an hour after sharing it, there’s a reason. My bank contacted me and let me know they were able to return the funds. 🙏🏼 I was incredibly relieved and grateful.
Because the situation had been resolved, I didn’t feel right leaving the post up. I always want to be honest with you, while also being transparent about what’s happening behind the scenes at Paulina’s Sweets.
Even though the amount taken wasn’t huge, it was still my money, my business money, and money I had worked hard for.
And the truth is, this business I love so much has been very slow these past few months 💔. I know the economy has been difficult for so many of us, and I completely understand.
At the same time, I’ve been dealing with some discouraging challenges: sending quotes and never hearing back, being ghosted after providing pricing, having orders cancelled or not picked up, and simply not receiving enough orders to keep things moving the way I need them to. 😔
Most of you know I work part-time at the high school, and I also have my travel business Paulina Thompson- Travel Agent with ET Family 🧳 , but Paulina’s Sweets 🍪 is something I built from the ground up. It means so much to me. I love creating, I love decorating cookies. Most of all, I love being a small part of your birthdays, weddings, showers, holidays, celebrations, and special moments. ❤️
I won’t pretend I’m not worried. If things continue this way, I may eventually have to make some difficult decisions about the future of my business.
But I’m still here. I’m still trying. And I’m not giving up. ❤️
