Let me have the gift of desperation and humility. Key components for me to realize I am not the center of the universe, change I must or die I will. I had to become grateful for my desperation in order to become willing to do anything, to change my life.
Today I am grateful for my addiction and alcoholism, without it I would have never been giving the tools to hold myself accountable to my powerlessness and unmanageablility.
