🍓🍋 STRAWBERRY LEMONADE CUPCAKES 🍋🍓

If summertime had a cupcake, I’m pretty sure she’d look like this. 💕☀️

Fluffy strawberry cupcakes filled with a bright, tangy lemon curd, then topped with swirls of sweet lemon buttercream. A little sparkle on top and, of course, the tiny striped straws because apparently even cupcakes need accessories. 😂💅

Sweet strawberry + tart lemon = that perfect front-porch-lemonade-on-a-hot-Southern-day kind of combination. 🍓🍋

Bright, cheerful, a little sassy, and almost too pretty to eat.

Almost. 😉🧁

🤍 A Bittersweet Announcement from Britt’s Southern Bakery 🤍

Well y’all… this one is a little hard to write. 🥹

After lots of prayer, we’ve decided that Britt’s Southern Bakery will officially be closing October 1st.

To every single person who has ordered a cake, grabbed some cupcakes, trusted me with your celebrations, shared my posts, recommended me, or happily volunteered to be a taste tester for one of my latest concoctions—THANK YOU. ❤️ Y’all took my little home bakery and made it something I’ll always be incredibly proud of.

But God has been doing some stirring, and when He says GO… well, you better pack your bags! 😂🙏

Within the next few months, our family will be leaving the area to follow what we believe God is calling us to do. We don’t know exactly what every mile ahead looks like, but we know Who’s leading us—and that’s enough.

Now before anybody starts mourning the buttercream… this isn’t goodbye! 😂🎂 We’ll be back in town periodically, and you better believe I’d love to whip up some of your favorite sweet treats while we’re here!

We’ll also be creating a new page so you can follow our family’s journey, see what God is up to, and keep watch for those “Britt’s back in town—who needs cake?!” posts. 😉

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for loving and supporting Britt’s Southern Bakery. This chapter has been sweeter than I ever imagined. 🤍

The bakery may be closing, but something tells me God is just getting started.

“For we live by believing and not by seeing.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7 NLT 🙏❤️

🌻 A little wedding cake appreciation post! 🌻

There’s just something about sunflowers, daisies, and a rustic buttercream finish that makes my heart happy. 💛🤍

This two-tier beauty was covered in textured buttercream and finished with a cascade of bright sunflowers, white daisies, and delicate florals. I absolutely loved watching this one come together—from a simple cake to a centerpiece made for such a special day. 💍

Definitely one of those cakes I just had to show off. 🥰🌻

🌴🍍 A Birthday Cake Made With Lots of Love 🍍🌴

Some cakes just mean a little more. ❤️ This Piña Colada Cake was made for someone who is incredibly near and dear to my heart and to our entire family, so getting to make her birthday cake was extra special.

Four layers of tropical goodness featuring coconut cake soaked in coconut simple syrup, homemade pineapple reduction between every layer, coconut Swiss meringue buttercream, and plenty of toasted coconut—finished with fresh pineapple and cherries. 🥥🍍🍒

It was such a joy to create something special for someone who has meant so much to us over the years. Happy Birthday! I hope you felt just how loved and appreciated you are with every bite. 💕

And from Britt’s Southern Bakery—remember, some of the best cakes start with an idea! Whether it’s a favorite dessert, flavor combination, or something completely outside the box, bring me your ideas and let’s turn them into cake. 🎂✨
