Applications for the Sweet Serenity Christmas Project will officially close this Sunday, October 18th!

Our goal is to bring a little extra Christmas magic to local families who may be facing difficult times this holiday season. ❤️

Through this project, we hope to provide selected families with Christmas gifts for their children, a delicious holiday dinner, Christmas morning breakfast, and a few extra surprises to make the season special! 🎁🎅🏼

If your family could use a little extra support this Christmas, please don’t hesitate to apply. We understand that asking for help isn’t always easy, and every application will be handled with kindness, compassion, and confidentiality.

Christmas will be here before we know it, and we wanted to send out a friendly reminder that our application deadline is quickly approaching! 🎅🎁

If you or a family you know could use a little extra Christmas magic this year, please don’t forget to submit an application before the deadline!

🍩 A Little Sweet Serenity Update! 🍂

Just a little change of plans for this weekend! Sunday will be our doughnut day instead of Saturday! We’ll still have some delicious fall goodies available Saturday! 🍎🎃

Last weekend was a little slower than usual, and with the colder weather approaching, we’re considering closing the farm stand for the season after this weekend. Nothing is set in stone just yet, but it’s definitely something we’re thinking about!

I absolutely love baking for you all, but I also have to be mindful of how much we’re making and what we’re selling.

I apologize for any inconvenience with the change in doughnut days, and I truly appreciate everyone’s continued love and support! 🫶🏼❤️

💕 OUR COMMUNITY DOES AMAZING THINGS WHEN WE COME TOGETHER 💕

I wanted to share this and help spread the word for our friends at Merchants Row Beauty Co/Vision Nutrition, who are collecting items for a local 14-year-old girl who is transitioning into a new living situation and essentially starting over.

They are collecting clothing, shoes, school supplies, hygiene and self-care items, bedroom necessities, gift cards, and more to help make sure she has what she needs to feel comfortable, confident, and prepared as she starts this new chapter. 🫶🏼

🎄❤️ Sweet Serenity Christmas Program Update ❤️🎄

Applications are still coming in for our Christmas Program, and we wanted to share an update on what we’re working toward and how our community can help!

Our goal is to make this a one-stop Christmas resource for the families we select. Rather than families needing to seek out separate programs for gifts, food and other Christmas needs, we want to help provide the whole Christmas experience. ❤️

🎁 GIFTS & STOCKINGS

Once applications close, we’ll review them and select the families we’re able to help this year.

After that, we’ll post specific items needed for our selected families, and our community will be able to choose an item — or multiple items — they would like to purchase. This helps us make sure we’re providing things families actually need while avoiding duplicates.

🍽️ CHRISTMAS DINNER

Each family will choose between a ham or turkey, and we’re planning to provide:

• Ham or turkey
• Stuffing
• Mashed potatoes
• Cranberry sauce
• Vegetables
• Rolls
• Christmas dessert from Sweet Serenity

📣 LOCAL BUSINESSES: If you own or work for a business that would be willing to offer a discount on the purchase of multiple hams or turkeys, please reach out! Even a bulk discount would help us stretch our funds further. ❤️

🎅🏼 CHRISTMAS EVE

I’ll also be donating a Christmas Eve box for the kiddos in each family with Sweet Serenity sugar cookie decorating kits and hot cocoa, and I’m hoping to include new Christmas PJs for each child as well. 🍪☕️🎄

🥞 CHRISTMAS MORNING

Each family will receive a couple of drink options along with Sweet Serenity cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning.

❤️ HOW CAN YOU HELP?

For now, applications are still being accepted!

Once applications close and families are selected, watch our page for our needs list. You’ll be able to choose exactly what you’d like to purchase or contribute.

And if you would love to help but don’t have the time or simply don’t want to do the shopping — that’s okay too! Monetary donations are absolutely welcome, and I am more than happy to do the shopping for you. ❤️ Every donated dollar will go toward filling the remaining needs of our Christmas families.

We are also still accepting general donations and items that can help support the program as a whole.

Our hope is simple: gifts under the tree, filled stockings, a special Christmas Eve, breakfast Christmas morning, a full Christmas dinner and a little something for the parents/caregivers too.

We want our families to be able to focus on making memories with their children instead of worrying about how they’re going to make Christmas happen. 🎄❤️

Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, reached out or offered to help already. We truly cannot do something like this without our community, and we are so excited to see it all come together. 🎁

A little wedding sweetness 🤍💍

I had the honor of creating this wedding cake and cupcakes for a beautiful bride who is also a friend and former coworker of mine. 🥹

The cake was a two-tier carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and hand-piped rosettes, accompanied by 4 dozen chocolate & vanilla cupcakes. 🧁

Cakes are definitely one of those things that challenge me—I will pick apart every little detail and convince myself something could have been better 😂—but seeing everything come together for such an important day makes all of those hours worth it.

Thank you so much for trusting me to be a small part of your wedding day. It truly means more than you know. 🤍
