Lisa's Sweet Chaos Homemade cupcakes, layer cakes, and special occasion cakes Chocolate Peanut Butter - fudgy chocolate cake topped with a whipped peanut butter frosting.

Snack Cake - devil's food cake, with homemade marshmallow cream filling, topped with chocolate ganache

Sugar Cookie - rich vanilla cake topped with a buttery vanilla buttercream

Cinnamon Bomb - this innocent looking cake started life as a snicker doodle, but after a mishap with a measuring spoon, the cinnamon bomb was born. Breakfast - a not-too-sweet buttermilk cake with a cinnamo

n streusel swirl, topped with maple syrup buttercream and bacon. Yep, that's right, bacon. Tastes of Fall - pumpkin spice cake, chocked full of apples and cranberries, topped with cream cheese buttercream. Sizes and prices:

Mini's - $8/dozen or $15/2 dozen

Traditional - $10/ half dozen or $18/ dozen

This project was the very definition of Sweet Chaos. NOTHING went quite as planned - from scraping and re-piping, to 4 trips to Walmart, to melted fondant, to an emotional breakdown (not really about this project) - BUT it was AWESOME getting sticky and remembering how much I love creating sweet art.

Just a word of advice: ALWAYS set a timer. Even when you think "I've got this".
Me: Ok, this cake needs about 5 more minutes.
90 minutes later...Oh crap!
FYI, over-baked cake is not delicious. Fortunately, teenage boys don't care.
