Have you recently thought to yourself (and maybe even whispered to your spouse) “we need more gay friends.” Well, now is the time. Come to (Encinitas) on Saturday where I’ll be popping up from 3-5pm. My wife and I will be celebrating Pride with cookies and beer (and gay jokes) and we’re available for friendship— if you’re looking for the kind of friendship where we take six days to reply to your texts, never have availability to hang out, and send you unsolicited photos of our daughters. If yes, we’re the gay friends you need in your life!
The three flavors I’ll have for sale are: Oatmeal M&M, Double Chocolate, and my new Pride cookies (birthday cake base with pink and white frosted animal cookie crumbles).

Pop-Up Alert- Friends! has invited me (okay, I invited myself and they graciously accepted) to pop-up at their downtown Encinitas location on Saturday from 3-5pm. I’m vaccinated, it’s Pride month, and I have a sitter for my toddler—things are going to be wild. Come drink beer, eat cookies, and enjoy some sunshine with me (and my wife and baby).

Introduction post: with so many new followers, I want to give a quick overview of who I am and what I do!
My name is Brittany and I started this cookie company out of my home kitchen in 2019 (I’m licensed through the County). I’ve been married to my wife, Joanna, for almost five years and we have two daughters, Ensley (2.5) and Cardiff (6 months). I wanted to stay home with them while they’re little but also feel connected to the world outside of motherhood (which can feel all-consuming sometimes).
Before the pandemic and having my second daughter, I was doing pop-ups with local Encinitas businesses and taking custom orders. Currently, I’m solely running Instagram flash sales because that’s all I have the bandwidth for. I don’t have a brick and mortar location, which is why I don’t have cookies available at all times. Its just me baking out of my tiny home kitchen!
When the world is a bit more vaccinated and covid numbers are down, I’m hoping to pick back up with pop-ups. Until then, keep an eye out for flash sales!

What a year it’s been! I can’t thank you all enough. You’ve helped me grow my tiny cookie company out of my home kitchen, you’ve supported my little business through a pandemic and pregnancy this year, you’ve made my day with your hilarious comments on my posts. I’ve chosen to stay home with my girls while they’re young and the truth is it can be isolating and overwhelming at times. But you all have helped me feel connected to our community while supporting my small business and I feel endless gratitude.
I’ll be taking the next couple of weeks off to figure out exactly how I should structure my baking days in the future but I look forward to serving you soon. Have a safe New Year, friends!

I love a big pile of Thick Mint and Oatmeal M&M cookies.
I’ll be taking next week off in order to bake for the emergency room staff at a local hospital for Christmas. And I’ll do my final bake of the year for New Year’s Eve so stay tuned for those details!

Hi everyone! Thanks for sticking with me as I navigate my return to baking. I’ve been attempting to do some flash sales, which are working best for the time being. As many of you know, I have a 12 week old and two year old and I just haven’t been able to dedicate as much time to cookies. I hope to get into a better groove in the next couple of months!
