It’s time to celebrate the end of another school year. 🍎 Instead of decorated cookies I decided to switch it up this year and offer up my version of the latest viral treat.

Dot Cakes!

These trendy treats are layered in an 8oz cup.
Bottom layer - Moist Scratch Made Vanilla Bean Cake.
Middle layer - Fluffy Vanilla Bean Buttercream
Top Layer - A Crunchy seamless coating of rainbow nonpareils.

Pre-orders launch at 8am this morning on my hotplate site through Sunday. Pick up Thursday, June 4, just in time to surprise your kiddo with for the end of the year and their favorite teacher too!

All of my preserves, marmalades, jam, relish and jellies are only made with hand picked fresh produce. Never, ever, ever store bought. Berries are not yet in season here in Minnesota, but they are in Tennessee! Brought these beauties back with me. Get ready for some Southern Berry Jam 🫙 🍓

I’m headed to Tennessee this week and that means an opportunity to bring back fresh fruit to preserve and bake with. Crossing my fingers these blackberries ripen up just in time for my visit 🤞🏻

The blackberry plants are loading up. We are expecting to have them at the Jones Orchard farm stands in a couple of weeks!

Happy Monday! I wasn’t planning to schedule a sourdough drop for this week but given I’ve received a couple impromptu order requests I figured I’d offer up the opportunity to anyone else who may be interested in Sourdough this week. A little late night baking. When I told my kids I was baking cookies, immediately I was asked, “What kind? THE cookies?!??” Yes, they have now become THE cookie. The one everyone keeps coming back for seconds, thirds. The cookie you keep thinking about.

I love giving back to the community. Great Oaks Academy is an amazing school with the most incredible staff. This spring, a class won a cookie party from me during the annual gala silent auction. So excited for them to enjoy these custom treats today!
