Winter has finally arrived (better late than never I guess) and with it we are shutting down the bake stand for the season.

We will be back at the first sign of spring with an expanded product line including more herbal products, handmade crafts and gifts, and of course, our signature farmhouse loaves.

The Stone & Ground bake stand officially re-opens tomorrow at 8:00 AM.

We are so excited to welcome you back for the 2026 season. Here is what’s waiting for you at the stand:

🍞 Daily Fresh Bread: Made every morning with organic, stone-ground wheat and fresh local milk. Available Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM.

🌿 The "I Quit" Bath Soak: Whatever you’re giving up for your New Year’s resolution, don’t give up on relaxation! Our new restorative soak features bioavailable magnesium and jojoba to keep you feeling calm and grounded.

Good morning! I took one look at the fog this morning and decided that it simply wasn't safe to open the bake stand.

So that will be all from us for the year, we will see you bright and early Tuesday January 6th.

Millionaires shortbread is back for Christmas!

We also have
🍪Peppermint Millionaires (shortbread, peppermint cream, and chocolate),
🍪Vanilla & Nutella sandwich cookies,
🍪Double Chocolate (chocolate dipped chocolate butter cookies)

The stand is stocked and open 8am-6.30 pm today through Christmas eve (though stocks will get limited the closer we get to Christmas, so grab them today, they will be good through the 26th, if they last that long!)

I guess you guys really like cookies!

I just finished putting together the cookie tins for tomorrow and so many were ordered, I'm out of cookies, out of dough and even out of butter!

There will be bread on the stand tomorrow and cookies will be back on Saturday!

We are open every day between now and Christmas, including Sunday.

Swing by for your daily bread, and home made cookies. Our cookies are all made with fresh ground, domestically produced organic wheat, so they have actual nutrition...not that your friends and family will be able to tell, because they are delicious (even if I do say so myself 😉)

Grab one pack, or grab a few, and a tin to make your own gift box (tins available at the stand, while supplies last)

We have light stock today and tomorrow and will be fully stocked Thurs-Christmas eve.

You can find Big Blue Bertha, the bake stand, on E Black Canyon, 1/4 mile after you turn towards the resevoir. Self Serve.

Don't forget our bread is still 'pay-what-you-can' through the end of the year too!

I'm experimenting with cookie flavors at the Stone & Ground kitchen. I'll be posting regular updates with the flavors we have each day. All my cookies use a crispy European butter cookie base with a delicate layer of chololate, jam or glace icing

Today we have
- White Christmas Caramel, iced
- Peppermint Mocha, iced
- Chocolate Peppermint, iced
- Vanilla
- All butter Scottish Shortbread

Im also puttung together selction boxes with 4 varieties of cookies. Shoot me a message with the day you would like to collect and you will get that days flavors, 24oz for $$20.

After a long week of sickness, Big Blue Bertha is fully stocked for tomorrow with bread, and 3 flavors of cookies, including these delightful chocolate peppermint Christmas buttee cookies.

Sorry guys, I thought I'd be better in time to start baking for the weekend, but this flu has knocked me out.

So I won't be baking this weekend. I'll be taking the time to recover and will be back in full swing with regular hours next week, Tuesday -Saturday, 8am-8pm.
