Iā€™ve had to make a few hard decisions the last couple weeks and unfortunately this one was the hardest šŸ˜”
I am officially done with the farmers market for the 2026 season.
I need to take some time for myself and focus on more things around the homestead, while also working away from home. This has been a very tough season for me to navigate but it has been WONDERFUL!!
I want to thank all my regular customers as well as all the new faces I got to meet this year!! You are all more appreciated than you realize šŸ¤—
That being said, I will still take custom orders if needed! So if you have a craving for sourdough bread, or maybe you need cupcakes for a birthday party, or maybe youā€™re planning a trip to the cabin and want to bring a simple grab-n-go breakfast of delicious pecan caramel rolls or cinnamon rolls, Iā€™ve got you covered!! Just reach out via messenger and we will make a plan!
And if not, Iā€™ll see you all next season, 2027!!

I will take a picture once I set up today, but Iā€™m bringingā€¦..

-Plain sourdough bread
-JalapeƱo Cheddar sourdough bread
-Multigrain Sourdough bread

-Apple turnovers
- Cherry turnovers

- Chocolate Chip cookies
- chocolate crinkle cookies

Due to the storm yesterday and the power going in and out for a few hours, I was unable to get to everything else I wanted to bake!!
So that means Oatmeal Cream pies, Hawaiian cakes and Chocolate covered rice Krispy treats will be at the farmers market in Embarrass next week! (September 18th).

With everything going on in life, the 18th may be my last market of the seasonā€¦ā€¦But we will see.

So far for tomorrow I will have Multigrain Sourdough bread, JalapeƱo Cheddar sourdough bread (not pictured cause itā€™s in the oven), chocolate crinkle cookies and chocolate chip cookies!!
If this weather would calm down and my power would stay on, Iā€™ll get to baking everything else!!!! šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø
Still in the works is plain sourdough, oatmeal cream pies, apple turnovers, cherry turnovers and chocolate covered rice Krispy treats!

Heads up to all my fabulous followers!!!

I will not be at the Embarrass Farmers Market this Friday (Sept 11th) as it looks as though thunderstorms are part of the all-day forecast!
But no worries, this is good news I promise! I will be set up in Tractor Supply in Virginia on Saturday!!! (Sept 12) from 10am-2pm!!!
The weather outlook usually gets me down, but this time it takes a huge load off my shoulders, as now I donā€™t have to try and prep for back-to-back markets!
The menu is still in ā€œconstructionā€ mode, so I will update as I finalize it!!
(A sneak peek thoughā€¦.. Iā€™m prepping multigrain sourdough bread as I type this šŸ˜‰)

Iā€™m a little sad I had to resort to AI to design a banner for me, as I really frown on that with my business, but I just couldnā€™t get those creativity juices flowing enough to do it myself! šŸ¤£ So please donā€™t hold it against me!

All in small quantities, I will have plain sourdough, rosemary garlic Parmesan, Italian herb and cheese (one with garlic because Iā€™m not good at multi tasking and I added garlic to one loaf šŸ˜†šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø), and Everything Bagel seasoned!

I do apologize to those of you waiting for my jalapeƱo cheddar bread!! Iā€™m waiting to get some homegrown-farm fresh jalapeƱos because I just prefer that in my breads šŸ˜‰ Hopefully next market!! šŸ¤žšŸ¼

Iā€™m hoping to get all the breads baked tonight so I can bake something else in the morning. What exactly? I have no clue! But Iā€™m sure Iā€™ll think of something!!
