Don't forget - the next Vintage Marketplace in the Falls is just around the corner! June was SO much fun and we're super excited to be back in July. We'll have all sorts of fresh baked goodies available for everyone THIS SUNDAY!

Freezing is nature’s pause button. It sounds so silly to say, but did you know you can freeze your fresh bread just like store bought? With all this rainy weather, Mr. Morgan wanted to make grilled cheese for dinner tonight so we busted a loaf out of the freezer! When I freeze my fresh bread, I wrap it in parchment paper and then tightly wrap in plastic wrap. Always write the baked and freeze dates on it! You’ll usually want to use withing six months to avoid freezer burn. To avoid waste, we usually either give left over loaves to coworkers throughout the week following a market or freeze them for home use! This loaf was baked in April; To thaw it just wrapped in paper towels and microwaved in 30 second intervals, rotating the loaf so it doesn’t get soggy. When it’s soft, it’s thaw! 🥖❤️🍞

I had a special sleepover last night and offered my niece her choice of muffins or cinnamon rolls for breakfast and she picked muffins! Experimental recipes are always so so fun, and this still needs just a teeny tweak! I had an assistant today and we made banana muffins. These bad boys are loaded up with all sorts of goodness to keep you going all morning! Whole wheat flour, milled flax, rolled oats… and the special ingredient, a sprinkle of mini chocolate chips! 🍌🥖❤️

Second Saturday in Lorain was so fun! We had a great turnout for our first ever market and we learned a LOT! We SOLD OUT of all of my scones and flavored/infused breads; Mama left with only ONE PACK of cookies! You can catch us next on June 30 at The Vintage Market in the Falls at Grand Pacific Junction in Olmsted Falls, but in the meantime, our dms are open for orders 🥖❤️🍪
