Ok here’s the deal, I’m sure these videos are probably getting old. I told my husband I wasn’t going to post any more of these because you all must think I’m insane for still putting product on a self serve farmstand. BUT, what I haven’t mentioned is that we’ll be moving the stand to our house as soon as we have the proper zoning completed. We’ve been going through all of the steps to get this done over the last few months and we’ll have a decision hopefully by the end of the month. We’ve been emptying cash frequently, managing product…usually so there’s not a ton on the stand at night, etc. But people are ruthless. It’s so funny to read the comments when a video goes viral and see everyone’s helpful suggestions. We’ve considered them all, trust me. But what people don’t understand is that no matter what we do, people still steal. In broad daylight…in the middle of the night. Product, cash, the freaking calculator. They don’t care.

This happened yesterday and I’m just absolutely mind blown. Our updated zoning confirmation cannot come soon enough! And to those who say we should stop doing self serve or close the farmstand…this is my full time job and income. It has made GREAT money for my family! To close it for a few weeks while we wait would be a large loss. So, we do what we can in the meantime!

And in the meantime if I’m going to lose hundreds in profit, I’ll at least post here to grow the account so I can maybe gain a few new customers 🤣

Also for those commenting about calling the police…yeah…we do that. 🤪
