My wedding cake tastings are usually a take home experience, but since the just so happens to be the lovely Black Moon Public House in the same building as my kitchen, why wouldn’t you want to enjoy your cakes with some bubbly and enjoy the dining room?!

Kayla and Jon selected some fun flavors so I can’t wait to see what they chose! Cheers, you two! I can’t wait for your big day 🫶🏽

Well! We didn’t bring home any awards this year from the Whoopie Pie Festival, but I didn’t need them with my parents and the friends I had there helping me this year and the special stories I got from my thousands of customers 🥹.

9000 in attendance this year.

Just needed to share with you my beautiful new VERY pink tent and set up 😝.

TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY!!
We’ve been baking and scooping and whipping and have crafted just about 500 Whoopie pies for you to come grab at the Maine State Whoopie Pie Festival! Six different flavors!!

Last year, H&L won Best Traditional Whoopie! Let’s see what we can do this year! Excited to see all my fellow bakers again.

Now is as good a time as any to introduce Honey & Lace’s FIRST EMPLOYEE 🥰. Everyone meet, Zoe!

Zoe was one of my culinary arts students and grew to become an incredible chef and most importantly, person. I’m so proud of her and wouldn’t trust anyone else to take some of the pressure off of me. She knocked out 250 of these whoopies and I couldn’t have done it without her!

A beauty of a true Black Forest cake for a dear friend and her husband on their anniversary.

Kirsch soaked chocolate sponge, sour cherry compote and stabilized vanilla bean whipped cream frosted. A chocolate collar and fresh cherries to set the party off 🩷🍒
