Being a mother of four I had resorted to store bought cereal to bring ease to my morning rush. One day I really took a look at the labels. How could I send all of us out the door to launch a new day with that in our bellies? I started making granola again and when my pickiest child decided it was something he loved, I knew it was a good thing. Fall of 2014, I dropped a jar of my homemade granola

off by a friend. In a flurry of texts she encouraged me to sell it. Ever since then I have had a wonderful group of friends and family that have encouraged me to get this business going. I use whole grain oats, pecans, coconuts, organic coconut oil and organic maple syrup. Some great substitutes in there to make it healthier. My sidekick and husband Chris and I started out baking and packaging at the Algoma Farm Market kitchen. We transitioned to Fireside Restaurant in Ellison Bay when the travel became too much. We leased a kitchen in Sister Bay and have been able to increase production and added fresh roasted Kick Ash coffee. Very soon we are coming to Ellison Bay! Look for our retail store in June 2017! You can find our product at locations throughout Door and Brown County. My website: www.kickashproducts.com has a list of all of the retail locations. This has been an incredible adventure with many talented, wonderful people by my side. I look forward to providing you with tasty, healthy granola for years to come.
