In Loving Memory of Annie 🤍
As many members of our community know, Annie Schapiro was a familiar and beloved face at both the Ellicottville Bake Shop and the Alpine Bistro. She visited us almost daily, ordering her poppyseed bagel made extra crispy, always with her trusty companion, Ryder, by her side.

Annie’s visits were a welcome bright spot at the start of our days. Our bakery staff loved doting on Ryder and making sure he had plenty of treats, and over time, he became a little bit like our company mascot.

Our manager, Kate, remembers Annie as “the sweetest, most caring lady.” That kindness was something everyone here came to know and appreciate.

We will miss seeing Annie walk through our doors, sharing those daily conversations, and, of course, seeing Ryder by her side. We feel very fortunate to have been a small part of her routine and to have gotten to know her over the years. We take comfort in knowing we’ll still be seeing Ryder around from time to time.

In her memory, both of our locations will be making a donation to the SPCA in Cattaraugus County to help ensure that other animals like Ryder have the chance to live the happy, loving lives they deserve. We will miss you Annie. ❤️
