When my son was dancing with his beautiful new bride, my heart was so full. I saw him out there in love and I was so grateful that my many prayers were answered - prayers for him to find the love of his life, and that she would be someone who loved God and her family. As I watched James dance with his bride, all grown up, visions of this cute little baby and the joy he brought to my mom his entire life just flooded over me. My father died suddenly, shortly after I married Jim, and James’ birth was part of a happy new chapter for my mom. He was able to tell her 2 days before she died that he intended to propose to Catherine and that they would have a beautiful family and tell them all about Wodie. I miss her so much and I know how happy she would have been to see James and Catherine get married. I know he’s all grown now, but in his sweet face and gentle manner, I still see this beautiful little baby boy.
