Tomorrow we’re taking the snack show on the road! 🚗🌺

You can find The Hawaiian Hoosier at the Owen County Farmers Market on Saturday, but you do NOT have to wait until then to get your snack fix.

Our snacks are available Wednesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 6 PM for pickup and delivery, so you can stock up early, snack now, and still come see us at the market like the loyal little snack adventurer you are. 😋✨

Freeze-dried candy, popcorn, Aloha Mix, Mahalo Mix, and all kinds of island-style goodies are ready to make your week a little more ono-licious.

Wondering how to warm up leftover rice from Chinese takeout or your favorite Asian restaurant? This works for steamed rice, white rice, and fried rice too. Don’t let it turn into a rice brick. 🍚

Here’s our quick trick to reheat takeout rice without drying it out:

After you get home from your favorite Asian eats, place a wet paper towel on top of the rice before putting it in the refrigerator. Close the container and let that little bit of moisture help keep your rice ready to reheat later.

When you’re ready to eat:

✅ Make sure the container has no metal. If it does, transfer the rice to a microwave-safe dish before heating.
✅ Keep the paper towel mostly moist and covering the rice
✅ If the paper towel starts to feel dry, add a little more water before reheating again
✅ Microwave on high for 30 seconds
✅ Remove the paper towel, stir the rice, and check the temperature
✅ Repeat for another 30 seconds if needed, keeping the paper towel wet

The wet paper towel helps steam the leftover rice so it warms up soft and fluffy instead of dry, crunchy, or hard.
