Lana’s Lil Learners will reopen for summer FULL day Monday-Friday childcare on June 1st.

Enrolling with an opening as soon as June 1st for part time Monday-Wednesday (Thursday instead of Wednesday is optional) and a schedule between 8-4:00, but exceptions can be made for the right family. Lana's Lil Learners has been in business for 14.5 years. It’s state licensed, CPR/First Aid certified, and follows the food program guidelines for balanced meals.

Lana’s Lil Learners is located in Arbor View, which is located between Maple & Fort Street, but west of 204th St. It’s close to Bethany’s Lutheran Church and St. Patrick’s.

Lana’s Lil Learners offers a balanced approach to free play, curriculum-based (themes), hands on learning, outdoor play, arts & crafts, and walking field trips to the neighborhood playgrounds. The toddler/preschool program runs from September-May but operates year long. The tot preschool covers one letter per week, numbers, counting, colors, fun science and early learning themes, and so much more! There’s a good balance of child led and adult taught instruction. This program is geared towards toddlers and preschoolers, between the ages of 18 months to 4 years of age. The ratio is one teacher to 6-8 children. This is a community centered home-based learning program, where your child will develop amazing friends, parents within the program participate in outside play dates with one another, parents will receive text message updates (pictures) throughout the day, and you’ll feel rest-assured that your child is loved and cared for by a mother of 3 (two are adults) children. Mother’s Day crafts

The ducks went for a swim with the children watching them splash in a kiddie pool and then we said our farewells to them this past weekend! It was so much fun, but the ducklings loved to eat and grew very quickly!

We incubated and hatched 15 ducklings this week.

I have one part time spot opening June 1st for Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s that could move into full time 4-5 days per week by August/September.

Enrolling 18 months an up

3 years of age + must be potty trained and in underwear.

Lana’s Lil Learners does not accept infants. This is a toddler/preschool program located in Elkhorn.

Learning through play and child led hands on classroom this week. The children made their own trike wash and took the wood arches out to compare tallest to shortest. The children also decided to play football with one another.

This was a very fun week for the children! They had an opportunity to learn about how a chick emerges from an egg and witnessed it happen on Tuesday. They learned about the digraph “ch” for chicken, chick, and other common words. They interacted with the chicks and one child was brave enough to feed the chicks their feed from his hand.
