We had to bust out the orange and black this week 🧡🖤🦌 Last night was our Elks Varsity Football season opener and the whole dang town was there, which means just about the whole dang bakery was there. Sitting in the stands, Scott and I saw Kim photographing all the action, Stephanie coaching the color guard, our high schoolers in the student section with friends, some with poms, some with pads and sousaphones, and quite a few regular customers in the mix as well. It was such a lovely reminder of why we love our town so much and why having our business right here in downtown ER is just the best. Great people who are involved in their school and community, supporting each other and enjoying our perfect late August weather as the sun goes down over Glowicki.

Here’s to a successful fall season for all our sports, and a safe and fun school year for all our Elks!

Y’all were hungry (and well-caffeinated) this Harbor Days 😅

A thousand thank yous go out to our incredible staff of bakers and baristas for working their tails off all week. To make all of these drinks and sweets by hand day after day, night after night, it takes a lot of pride in their work, physical stamina, and care for not only making a great product but for putting smiles on our customers’ faces. We are lucky to have a whole team of people that do it all with a smile.

Another bunch of thank yous to our roastery team, making the coffee beans delicious, shipping out orders, prepping the farmers market and keeping the wheels on that end of things at Michigander Coffee Co. 🙌

We hope you all had a memorable Harbor Days 2026 in the best place on earth!

What an amazing summer so far 😅 Thank you for keeping us busy, buying all our cookies and donuts before we can snap a pic for the gram, and supporting our very hardworking team this summer! They are all amazing from the back to the front of house to the roastery and everywhere in between. And of course, so are our lovely, patient customers…we love you🫰
