Hi our shining geMs! ✨

For the month of April, Twisted geM will not be taking any new custom orders. An unexpected health matter has come up and we will need some time to rest and recover.

If you’ve already placed an order, don’t fret! You are still on our schedule and we 100% plan to fulfill those orders as promised. 🖤

Thank you all so much for your continued love and support! It truly means the world to us. Once healed, we’ll be back in full swing and ready to get back in the kitchen!

✨ A sweet celebration for Baby Sanchez ✨

This dessert set was created for a beautiful baby shower featuring a vintage-style cake and matching custom cookies inspired by Cielito Lindo.

Delicate piping on the cake to the tiny baby details and soft blue accents on the cookies, all to help celebrate the little one on the way.

Welcoming a baby is always something worth celebrating… especially with dessert. 💙

Side note, the wording is not centered because they had florals for the cake! 😘

These custom sugar cookies were created for a beautiful wedding shower, featuring soft blush florals, hand-painted gold details, and elegant monograms.

Every cookie is baked from scratch, iced by hand, and finished with edible gold for that extra touch of sweetness.

We loved being a small part of such a beautiful celebration. Congratulations to the soon-to-be newlyweds! 💕

Sometimes life gives you lemons that you can’t make lemonade out of. 🫠😭

Let me be transparent for a second.

Today was one of those bakery days that just… hurts. Batch after batch, tweak after tweak, troubleshooting everything I know to try and still watching cookies spread, melt, and miss the mark. (This picture sadly doesn’t even have all the cookies that didn’t turn out.)

It’s frustrating. It’s discouraging. And honestly, it sucks.

I pour so much love, time, and intention into what comes out of my kitchen, and when nothing cooperates, it feels personal. Even though I know it’s just part of the process. Baking isn’t always pretty highlight reels and perfect pulls from the oven. Sometimes it’s lessons, losses, and a whole lot of humility.

I’m taking a breath, stepping back, and figuring out the fix (I’m pretty sure we’re looking at an oven issue). We’ll get back to the magic soon, we always do. ✨
