I know this is a heavier topic but it is so near to my heart...

Postpartum depression came with a vengeance when I had my first daughter. I remember in the dark hours of the night I scoured TikTok and Instagram trying to see if I was not alone and I found hundreds of women talking about how I felt and sharing their story. It was the spark of saving my life because even though it was social media I found comfort knowing I wasn't alone...even if these women were strangers on my phone. Because of them I seeked out therapy, qualified for EMDR, and through all of this I have healed and I am now the best version of myself I've ever been.

So all of this to say is, if you came across this post randomly and you happen to be in the deep pits of depression. You are not alone. You matter. And keep fighting for yourself. No journey is linear but there is a light at the end of the tunnel, I promise. 🫶
