The Lithuanian Bakery has been in the same location in Elizabeth, New Jersey for over 65 years. Since 1974, we have owned and operated the bakery.

Three generations of our family (the fourth is now in training!) have worked tirelessly, offering our artisan crafted breads and cakes to people whom love and appreciate hearty wholesome breads and cakes. We have expanded the Lithuanian Bakery menu over the years, and today we now offer an array of baked goods common to European consumers. Whether you are of Lithuanian, Polish, German, Russian, Sl

ovak, Czech, Italian, Irish, Scottish, French, Greek, Ukrainian heritage, to name a few, or just a good old American, you will find your favorite baked goods here to enjoy.

Easter Babka

Please place your order by Friday, March 20 to ensure it will arrive for Easter.

We are excited to offer our 1 and 2 pound Cheese and Cherry Cheese babkas.
We also have 1 pound Cinnamon, Chocolate, Blueberry Cheese, Pineapple Cheese and Strawberry Cheese Babkas for your Easter Celebration.
We have our delicious Filled Strips available, Poppy Seed, Prune, Almond, Walnut, Raspberry Walnut and Apricot.

It is a rainy cold day here at the bakery. It feels like a good day to start thinking about how to celebrate Easter.

Fat Tuesday is National Paczki Day!
National Paczki (pronounced "punch key") Day is celebrated on "Fat Tuesday", the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday which is February 17th. Paczki are super-rich yeast raised Polish pastries. Paczki were created to use up the last of the forbidden ingredients of Lent, including lard, eggs, fruit, and sugar. Take a moment, make a cup of coffee and enjoy a paczki! You don't have to be Polish to celebrate National Paczki Day.
Apple, Bavarian Creme, Blueberry, Lemon, Prune, Red Raspberry and Strawberry.
