💜 Apparently purple used to be a luxury item.

Before synthetic dyes, one of the most famous purple dyes was made from sea snails. It was so difficult and expensive to produce that purple became associated with royalty.

So basically… purple has been fancy this whole time and we just didn't know it. 😂

🏈 Our first fundraiser kit is ready to take the field! 🏈🍪

I’m kicking off the Sweet Marie’s Bakeshop fundraiser for my Disney D***y Challenge with a little football fun! 🏃‍♀️🏰🎗️

This Football DIY Cookie Decorating Kit is the first of several themed kits I’ll be offering between now and December — and every single one is helping us raise money for Cannonball Kids’ Cancer. 💛

Inside the kit, you’ll get everything you need to decorate your own football-themed cookies at home — perfect for a football Sunday, a family night, a team party, or just because cookies + football = a pretty good combination. 😉🏈

And the part that makes this fundraiser so special to me:
✨ 100% of the purchase price will be donated to Cannonball Kids’ Cancer. ✨
So whether you’re decorating with the kids, watching the game with friends, or just looking for an excuse to eat cookies… you can have a little fun while helping support kids and families affected by pediatric cancer. 🎗️💛

🎗️ September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and this year it feels like the perfect time to share something new with all of you.

If you know me, you know I LOVE Disney. 🏰✨ And while I wouldn’t necessarily call myself a runner, there’s just something extra special about running at Disney. The atmosphere, the characters, the music, the magic… it makes those miles a whole lot more fun! 🏃‍♀️✨

So, in January, I’m taking on a pretty BIG Disney adventure — the Disney D***y Challenge! 😳🏰

That means 48.6 miles over 4 days: a 5K, 10K, half marathon AND full marathon. And yes… I realize that sounds a little crazy. 😂

But this time, I’m not just doing it for the challenge. I’m doing it for a cause that means a lot to me.

I’ll be fundraising for Cannonball Kids’ Cancer, an organization supporting children and families affected by pediatric cancer. 🎗️💛

And of course, I couldn’t take on a fundraiser without finding a way to bring Sweet Marie’s Bakeshop into it! 🍪

So from now through December, I’ll be offering special DIY Cookie Decorating Kits, with different themes throughout the season. 🎃🦃🎄

And the best part?
✨ 100% of the purchase price of every kit will be donated to Cannonball Kids’ Cancer. ✨

You get to decorate some cookies, make some memories, and help support kids and families facing pediatric cancer. 💛

I can’t decide if I enjoy making actual macarons more, or making sugar cookies that look like macarons!
