Dennis Beckner, the Church of the Brethren Annual Conference moderator, stopped by camp for a few nights on his way to Northern Plains District (Church of the Brethren) Conference.

He helped put up our big tent, serve dinner, and bought the staff soda and Gatorades to celebrate a day of hard work. Maybe he can stay the rest of the summer?!? 🏕️😎

We welcomed a very special visitor yesterday!

Joyce Dreesman, who cared for our camp for 17 years with her husband Larry, came to camp for the day as a part of Arlington Place of Grundy Center’s Dare to Dream program.

We revisited old recipes and memories, toured the property, and figured Joyce was a part of sharing more than 73,000 meals at camp over the years!
