Hi everyone! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little bit about who I am.
My name is Chef Flor Fernandez. I was born in El Paso and raised between two cities, so I’m proud to call this border region home. I speak both English and Spanish fluently, something I’m incredibly proud of. 🇺🇸🇲🇽
I’m a professionally trained chef and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Austin several years ago. During culinary school, I had the amazing opportunity to live and work in Spain, where I gained valuable experience and created memories I’ll always cherish. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of hotels and restaurants, each one helping shape me into the chef I am today.
Today, I get to do what I love most—baking. ❤️ Frambuesa Cheesecake was established in 2016 while I was working as a chef at a tech company in Austin. Four years ago, I moved back to the El Paso area, and I’ve been so grateful for the incredible support from this community ever since.
In addition to running Frambuesa Cheesecake, I also have the privilege of being a Texas Culinary chef instructor, where I get to share my passion for food and help inspire the next generation of culinary professionals.
Outside of the kitchen, I’m a proud mom of two, a total coffee fanatic ☕, a gym enthusiast 💪, and, most recently, I’ve fallen in love with golf ⛳ I love staying active, learning new things, and finding joy in both the simple and adventurous moments in life.
I truly love my clients, and I’m excited to continue meeting new people through my business. Thank you for following along on this journey, for supporting my small business, and for allowing me to be part of your special moments.
Feel free to ask me any questions—I look forward to getting to know you all!
