I thought I would introduce myself a bit for those who are new followers. My name is Lisa. I live in Egg Harbor City with my wonderful husband, Rob. I have 3 kids, all grown and the most beautiful 16 month old grandson. I am retired from a 20 year career as a paramedic after an injury and disabling autoimmune disease. I’ve worked as a chef and baker on and off since working in my parents’ bed and breakfast in the mid 80’s. When I was able to return to work after my injury, I began working as a full time chef on the savory side of the kitchen but found that the work is too strenuous with my condition. I started baking cakes in 2016 and over the years have added to our offerings over time. Now I run this cottage baking business that offers cakes, cookies, macarons, treats, desserts and holiday specialties. I am so grateful for all of you who have been customers since the very beginning and for those who we’ve met along the way. After recovering from foot surgery for the last couple of weeks, I’m hitting the ground running ( figuratively of course). This was woodland mushrooms and flowers set was such a pretty set with piped floral cupcakes. The little cake with the pink flowers was a quick one I put together for an impromptu birthday dinner for a friend.

I was so excited to get orders with two of my favorite themes this weekend. Plants vs Zombies is this insanely unhinged hilarious video game where zombies are coming to eat your brains and your only weapon are these weird little vegetables that grow between them and your door. My husband plays this game EVERY DAY! The zombies are all different. Here I made the one with a traffic cone on his head and one with a colander on his head.

The other one is this super cute silly goose theme. I am blown away by the cuteness of this order. And that little tiny smash cake! I just can’t even!😍😍😍

I also made this amazing galaxy cake with a sparkly mirror glaze and a glittery isomalt super nova. The camera doesnt do it justice. It really is super cool!
